Terms of use

Purpose

Listebaby lets you create baby registries, share them and receive gifts and contributions on them. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site: people who create an account to manage a registry ("users") and their loved ones who view a registry or give a gift on it ("guests").

Using the site means accepting these terms.

A free service

The service is free and has no ads. It may change, be interrupted for maintenance or come to an end; if it closes, users are told by email notice period, for example one month in advance so that they can retrieve their data.

Your account

You must be an adult to create an account. The information you give must be accurate, and your password is personal: you are responsible for what is done with your account.

Confirming your email address is needed to publish a registry. You can invite other people to manage a registry with you; they then accept these terms in turn.

What you publish

You are responsible for the content you publish: titles, messages, links, pictures, payment methods. It must comply with the law and respect the rights of others.

• no unlawful, hateful or violent content, and nothing that invades anyone's privacy;
• no advertising and no solicitation;
• no misleading or malicious links;
• no fundraising unrelated to a birth.

Moderation

A registry that breaks these terms may be hidden, and an account deactivated. If you think this is a mistake, write to bonjour@listebaby.fr.

Gifts and contributions

Listebaby is neither a seller nor a payment intermediary. Items are bought directly from the shops, on their terms; contributions are paid directly to the parents, through the payment methods they list. Listebaby guarantees neither the availability, the price nor the delivery of items, and takes part in no payment and no refund.

A reservation or a pledged contribution is not a payment: it is information given to the parents and the other guests. The parents themselves confirm what they received.

For guests

Giving a gift needs no account: a first and last name are enough, and an email address lets you receive a link to your gifts. That link gives access to your gifts: do not share it.

Parents see every guest's name, even when the guest chose to give anonymously: anonymity only hides it from the other guests.

A registry's link

Anyone who knows a registry's link can view it. Share it with people you trust; you can create a new one at any time, and the old one then stops working.

When you stop

You can delete your account at any time from "My account": the registries you are the only owner of are then deleted. An archived registry can still be viewed; its guests' names, email addresses and messages are erased 180 days after it was archived.

Liability

The service is provided with care, with no guarantee that it is always available. Listebaby cannot be held responsible for content published by users, for the shops' websites, or for money exchanged between guests and parents.

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; users are told by email of any significant change. They are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please write to us first to find an amicable solution. consumer mediator, if the publisher is a business
